Since I updated my iPhone to iOS10 I can't see the IMAP shared folder anymore in the Mail app. Until iOS9 the Mail app shows all IMAP shared folders you were able to subscribe. It was depending from the setting of the IMAP-path-prefix. Even I try different settings I do not recognize any different behavior.
I didn't find any comment from Apple for this.
Notice anyone the same problem? Is there a attempt at a solution?

Same issue, very exasperating. One thing I noticed was if you delete the account and start fresh, the shared folders are there, at least initially. If you leave the app and return later, they are gone. I suspect a prefix is being stored within the application state that later prevents shared folders from being seen. I have noticed that other apps also have problems seeing shared folders, including AirMail and Dispatch, though. I did really like having access to those before this last update -- please fix!

I can't see Shared Folders too.
I have delete the Mailbox and have add that new. For a short moment I see all folders, but there hiding after some seconds.
Without that function I can't work productive with my iPhone!!!
Assumption:
It seems Apple has implemented the namespace "/INBOX" as standard until you define another one e.g. "/user" . But its not more possible to use just "/".
I noticed the same behavior:
AirMail has the same problem. At the first try I could see the subscribed folders for a short moment.

If I add shared IMAP folder as favorites at my iPad in iOS9, I see the name of the favorites at my iPhone in iOS10 but I'm not able to go in there.
Same here and it's very annoying for iOS 10 started to create previously shared folders as new subfolders breaking access on those shared folders on other devices as well. Apple, stop trying to think for everyone and focus on the basics! Breaking features isn't good UX and bad UX is definitely having more impact on your image than any balloons popping off screen when sending birthday notes to some contact. Is iPhone becoming teen gadget or do you want to stick with business users?
(As long as Apple tries to catch up with fancy WhatsApp-stuff by supporting visual gadgets in Messages they can't spend time on doing QA on vintage stuff like E-Mail ... since you can't have shared folders per IMAP over iCloud using IMAP seems to be out of fashion today. Why touching Mail app at all?)

Install the Outlook App on your Apple-Device and you could see your folders
since Apple fix this. Nice Joke, it works for me this time
So -- is this forum only for venting, or does Apple actually review threads and fix these issues? If not, what is the proper way to get attention on these bugs?
iOS 10.1 is out and still no fix on this one. Guess I have to keep preventing my second iOS device from upgrading from iOS9 for this feature was essential to me for checking frequent notification mails w/o requiring to boot up some desktop device.
Actually, I don't expect any response from Apple on this thread for this is a "support community", which is just marketing jargon for "social support" and its punchline "Don't bother us as we don't care ... but maybe some other fool might have an idea to help you out".
I've created a ticket in the bugreport system from Apple. They told me there is already a bugreport for this problem and my ticket is a duplicate and will be closed. But I don't have access to the other ticket at this time.
