iTunes 12.5 - Album Count

iTunes 12.5 - Album Count

I just upgraded iTunes to 12.5 and while the total number of tracks has remained at 11,407, the number of albums has reduced from 750 to 702. What has happened and how do I correct it?

Hey ANHyett,

If I understand correctly, you updated iTunes and you are now missing albums. This may be caused by trouble with the iTunes .itl file. I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help if you don’t see all of your songs, albums, playlists, or other imported content after you update iTunes on your computer.
