for some reason my iPad podcast app has subscribed to ALL podcasts. when I say all, I even mean Chinese, Arabic, EVERYTHING!
any idea how to fix this?
it only just started happening and now I have 500 + unplayed podcasts, according to my app. I had to turn off refresh in the background so it didn't keep going.

Try these standard troubleshooting steps.
- Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-15 seconds).
- Restore your iDevice: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184
If your backup is to iTunes, make sure it's encrypted.
In addition, check your settings/preferences in iTunes and your other devices. If you enabled podcast syncing across all devices, accidentally subscribing to some on one device would have been synced to your iPad.
