Same problem with my Iphone 7 128gb... animation that smoother on the iPhone SE of my wife...

Hi all. Try a power/volume down reset and see if this improves things.

I did DFU mode... no backup... same problem... need an update soon!

Yes, I can confirm that. iPhone 7, 128GB - Every time it lags when I'm closing an app. I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone with that 🙂

I contacted Apple Support on Wednesday about the animation lag and the person I spoke with said they had not heard of this issue from anyone else. I ended up speaking with a Senior Advisor and they ran a diagnostic check on my iPhone. She could not find anything wrong with my processor. Hopefully if more people call support and report this issue they can address it on a future iOS update as long as it is not hardware related. It would help if some of the bloggers could get on board and write about this as well. Perhaps it would open Apple's eyes to the issue and resolve it.

I am actually surprised that the reviewers on YouTube as well as the more known sites have not picked up and reported it. I am led to think that we are not the only ones who are or have experienced this with the 7 and 7+, just strikes me as odd that it has not yet been pointed out in a posting on fan and review sites.

As more people get the new iPhones in their hands, it will come to the surface soon enough. Just going to take the right people that have a bit of leverage in the tech community to shed a negative spotlight before it gets addressed.

Same issue here, I just got my iPhone 7 Plus 128GB and just had it updated to 10.0.2 and the same issue still exist...

Same thing is here. I visited two stores and checked all iPhone 7 plus devices there. They all have a lag in recent apps screen, folder closing animation, and sometimes when an open app is quited.

I actually track same issue since iPhone 6 plus. The GPU seems to be weak for this screen resolution. Smaller screens are not affected that much, although recent apps screen also lags on 6s and 7 models.

I already expected 10.0.2 to not address this issue because this

is a urgent remedy for headphone jack glitch.

I will bet my money that they will only get around to this with

bigger update that would address something like battery improvement etc

If they ever will to work around that. Just think of the 3D Touch short cut Animation lag on the 6+ / 6s+ in landscape
