Q: Sharing FCPX movie to USB drive
Hello,
I'm preparing a movie to share to a client using a USB drive. It was shot 1920x1080. I'm aware that I need to format the drive ExFat. I have two questions.
1. I shared to a "Default Master File" using the setting "Computer" and "Audio & Video/h264". As I want the client to be able to play on a computer (Mac or PC) and TV does it make a difference which format I use. If I want them to be able to play the movie on mobile devices (iPhone/iPad/other non-Apple products) so should I recompress the file using "Apple Devices and a smaller resolution (720)?
2. I can't seem to get my TV to skip to the next chapter. The chapters show when the files are open in Quicktime on my iMac. Is this something with my TV settings or generally not something that's able to be done on a TV.
Thank's everyone for the help/answers.
