Sep 16, 2016 1:14 PM in response to v3njoby lllaass,- To install later that Lion (10.7.x) on the 2006-2007 Mac Pro you need a software hack since those Macs only have a 32 bit EFI, and later than Lion is only 64 bit OS.
Google for the hack if you want to try using it.

Sep 16, 2016 1:39 PM in response to v3njoby lllaass,Again what MacBook Pro SL disk do you have?
If a retail disk (white label background) then your it will work in your Mac Pro. If gray background it will not.
What you can do is is attached a HD enclosure/dock via USB to your MacBook Pro and install Slow lepard on that and then fully update SL on the MacBook Pro and then it should work in your Mac Pro
