Activity sharing failed after 1 day

A friend and I setup sharing and it worked for one day. Since that first day my activity doesn't appear on his side. I see his activity data. He's also sharing with his wife and they appear to each other. We've tried stop and restarting sharing without any success. I continue to see his data but he can't see mine. We both have iPhone 6s plus and the first generation Apple Watch.
