Using TC as bridge between Linksys router. TC will be connected by ethernet cable to another building. Will this work? Help.

Need to get wireless to my workshop about 70 feet from house. Am using Linksys router connect to Hughes Net modem. I have a new Time Capsule I would like to set-up in workshop. I have a ethernet cable running from my house to workshop. (Had bad lighting storm last week and knocked out two Linksys routers. TVs everything else okay! Need help insetting up TC.

OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)

Plug the ethernet to the WAN port of the TC and just run the airport utility setup wizard.. it should automatically configure the TC correctly.. Did you already try this and it failed.. if so was the TC connected as well during the storm because it can damage the ethernet ports.

Thank you for your reply! I have ordered a new Time Capsule which is scheduled for delivery Tuesday (20 Sep). Just trying to get as much info as possible before it arrives. Will follow the instructions you have provided. Thank you. Will update once I receive new TC.
