Turn off easy slide to camera in IOS 10

I updated to iOS 10 today and now with the screen locked there is no way to disable the easy slide to the camera and/or spotlight search. I would like to be able to disable both of these functions. When the phone is locked I want it to be locked and unable to be used till it is unlocked. So in the next update it would be nice to have a function added to allow us to have the option to turn these off.
