How to SELECT multiple mails at ONCE in a mail app in iOS

hi.

I like to simply select multiple mails at once on any mail app on ios. Just like it works on a mac with shift-click. The option to click edit and then select multiple mails is lije command-click is useless if you get 300 spam everyday and need to physically click all 300.

in the photo app it's at least now possible to click and slide and thus select multiple photos at once.

Thank you.

tino

PS: outlook and spark for iOS does also not do it. Any other app.

HI Alex.

Thanx for trying to answer but that is totally useless if you have to click and select 200 spam messages with 30 good ones in between.

what I like to do is like click once then while shift clicking and then click again andALL messages in between are marked.

ITs actually crazy that no one seems to need this.

Check photos. There you can click once and move your finger down and it keeps selecting as long as you keep sliding.

Hello tino,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. I know how important being able to select multiple messages in the Mail is to you! The good news is this is very easy! While viewing a list of messages, tap Edit, select some messages, then you can Mark, Move or Trash the selected multiple messages, and here is more info on this from the iPhone User Guide:

Work with multiple messages

Cheers!
