Sep 16, 2016 8:20 PM in response to jennifer23by gail from maine,They are not related to whether you have iCloud off or on, and you cannot delete them. You can take a look in the Music app itself, and click on the view option in the top middle of the My Music screen:
Once selected, you should see this second screen:
Make sure that "Show only music available" is turned on

Sep 17, 2016 4:44 PM in response to jennifer23by gail from maine,Library in the Music App.
So, if you don't want to see media that is in iTunes in the Cloud, (i.e., not on your device), you would tap on Library>Downloaded Music>then the Playlists, Artists, Albums, or Songs you want to play. You will notice that in this view, there is a light grey header at the top of the window that says: Showing only music on this iPhone.
If one of those same Playlists, or Albums, say, didn't have everything downloaded to the device, then when you went to that Playlist or Album via the Library>Downloaded Music>Albums path, you would not see those things that have not been downloaded in that view. In the Library>Albums view, you would see all of the items, and some would have the cloud next to them. You would also see a red cloud at the top of the screen which you can click to download everything on that album that needs to be downloaded.
So, you basically have two views for all of your media categories:
The direct Library view which displays all music associated with a particular Playlist, Album, or Artist, both downloaded and still in iTunes in the Cloud:
From the menu above, you can go directly to your Playlists, Artists, Albums, Songs for your entire Music Library.
For example, I have selected a Playlist called Repeat Test that has 3 songs on it:
Here you can see that of the three songs I have on this playlist, one is not downloaded. If I want to download it, I could click on the cloud next to it. If I had a bunch of items that were still in iTunes in the Cloud, I could tap on the Cloud at the top and that would initiate a full download.
Using the same starting point with the screen that comes up when I tap on Library in the Music App:
If I now select Downloaded Music, I see this:
As you can see, I have the same options to choose from in this view, and there is a banner at the top indicating that only music on the phone (i.e., downloaded music) is showing in this view.
Using the same Playlist that we looked at above to show the difference in how that Playlist would display in this view you will see that the item that is not downloaded (has the cloud) is not visible:
So, you no longer can "turn off" the display of music housed in iTunes in the Cloud, but you can bypass them altogether by selecting Downloaded Music before then selecting your Artists, Albums, Playlists, or Songs.
