Q: Iphone 7 reception

Just "upgraded" from a 5S to a 7 and the reception is terrible.  Had friends who got 6's and had the same problem so held off for the 7.  My 5S works fine at my house, never an issue, my new 7 no one can hear me.  Very disappointed! Seems like all the features are more important than working as a phone.  Still have a 5S work phone that works perfectly at my house.  Any suggestions?

I have the same issues. In my house the signal strength ranges from 0 to 2 bars, but is frequently dropped. Some times it comes back some times I have to reboot. Call quality is sometimes fine (with one bar), but most often I can't make a call, understand a call received, or even reach voicemail. I did not have this problem with my old iphone 4S. I also didn't experience the problem when I was in Ohio where I purchased the 7 and had 2-3 bars of signal strength. I just updated to ios 10.0.3 and have the latest carrier settings. Not sure yet if anything has improved. I am using the T-Mobile network through Walmart Family Mobile.  I am more than extremely disappointed with this phone.

I returned my iPhone 7 and reverted back to my iPhone 6.  I am back to the great service that I need and expect.
