I have purchased a web certificate as well as created my own. How do I re-register these so they won't expire?

All certificates expire after a period of time that is specified when they are created.

To renew Server certificates, if that is what you are asking:

In Server.app select the certificate you want to renew and click the editing button (it's got a pencil icon on it). Some details will be displayed and the 'Renew...' button is on the bottom left of the panel that opened when you clicked the pencil.

There is a single Apple Push Notification Service certificate, which you get from Apple and is tied to an AppleID. It is valid for all APNS services. When it expires all the services that need APNS, which is pretty much your list, complain.

Here's how APNS works in more detail:

Thanks for taking the time for this reply. Interesting stuff here. I've pretty much taken Server on as a hobby now that I'm retired. I'm using my domain to run a VPN with myself and son being the only 2 clients so far. Sometimes I read the Server log for hours. Anyway, I still don't completely understand the whole having to renew the certificate that Apple gave me. Since it's a hobby I'll let it lapse and see what transpires. Learning curve if you will.
