Q: How to enter bios in macbook pro

Hi,

How to enter in macbook bios (Command+Option+O+F) is not working in my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009).

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Macs with Intel processors like yours do not have a bios (0pen firmware), it uses EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface).
What are you trying to accomplish?

Hi,
Thanks for responding, Actually as we are doing a research with respect to TPM (Trusted platform module) I need to switch on the TPM and have to take the ownership to continue further with the research. So please assist me to do the same.

Mac computers do not have a user accessible "bios".
Apple stopped shipping computers with TPWs in 2006

Hi lllaass,
I have tried this link before but i am not getting weather TPM is enabled in my macbook or not because TPM driver is not getting load, as the window person enabling same at the time of bios, So i too tried the same. If you have any idea please let me know, and is it possible to take the ownership of TPM in macbook right.Please help me out of this.

Since 2006 Macs do not contain a TPM. Thus you can't take ownership of something that does not exist.

I know of no workaround and do not know what specific models of Mac computers that have TPM except what I said about models after 2006 do not have it.
