I preordered on the first day you could and picked it up on launch day yesterday. Absolutely horrific experience, queued for an hour despite an allocated reservation slot but that wasn't the worst. The system they use to process the whole upgrade programme massively struggled and the whole thing took 3 hours in total. the store was absolutely packed as everyone was in the same situation and the queue outside was just getting ever longer as no-one else could get In. This was disgraceful in my opinion, I can't believe in this day and age that a massive technology company like Apple would not have tested the system before launch to iron out the kinks that I and dozens of others suffered. i also didnt want Apple care, I just wanted the annual upgrade but don't think Apple made it at all clear you have to have Apple care to get the annual upgrade. All in all, not a great experience!!! Hopefully now we're past launch day things will get better. Oh, and also, the battery life on the iPhone 7 so far is terrible!!!
