Q: Why can you reply to messages on lock screen ios10?

I update to iOS 10 yesterday and I can't reply to any type of message on locksreen or at the top as I'm using my phone. Only if I go on to the app. The only option it'll give me on lock screen is 'clear'. it also won't let me reply to any tweet of any type of notification, and yes I've checked settings and it's saying it's working. Any advice? Seeing as fast reply is no longer an aption on my phone. Thank you.

    Hi Catts_sad_,

Thanks for your question.   To respond to notifications, tweets, etc. on the iPhone 6s Plus with iOS 10, you can either swipe left over the notification, or use 3D Touch.  Just press deeply on the notification, then respond.  You may want to adjust the sensitivity of the 3D Touch on your device as needed.   Take a look at the resource below to see what changes have taken place with iOS 10.  I've highlighted some key information for you here.  Click on the link for complete details.

    Notifications on your Lock screen

In iOS 10, you can interact with notifications on the Lock screen to catch up on news, respond to messages, and more without unlocking your device.

Here are some ways you can view and interact with notifications from the Lock screen:

    • To view your lock screen, press the Home button or Sleep/Wake button. If you have an iPhone 6s or later, lift your device to see the Lock screen.
    • To respond to a notification, swipe left over it, then tap respond. If you have an iPhone 6s or later, use can use 3D Touch. Just press deeply on the notification, then respond.
    • To open the app to respond, swipe right over the notification.
