Q: Must I use an Ethernet cable to set up the wireless connection on a PC w/Windows 10

I Can get my IPhones to access my AirPort Extreme (802.11ac).  After I change my router password I having having trouble getting a wireless connection to the PCs (Windows 10).  Before I changed the password I had problem.  Do I need to use an Ethernet cable to hard wire the PCs to the router initially before establishing a wireless connection?  If not, what should I try?

Windows 10, null

You shouldn't have to use an Ethernet connection, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

One thing that I do recommend is to use a simple network name for your Apple wireless network. That is keep it at under 16 characters and do not use spaces or special characters in the name. For example: MyAppleNetwork
