Delivery time Apple watch 2

Hi! I'm from the Netherlands and the delivery time of the apple watch 2 is 3-5 weeks, why? Does it really takes so long?

When I ordered the watch, delivery was meant to be 4-5 weeks. I received the watch in just over 2 weeks. The series 2 watch has only just been released, so I suspect they are inflating their delivery times to cover themselves.
