issue with the keynote text templet in fcpx?

Hi guys, am trying to use the keynote text templet but its not working properly, the text is ok but the problem is with the video drop zone, I used to use the templet in the recent past till when a friend asked me to show her how to use it, and thats when I noticed even if you put the video in the drop zone, it doesn't appear in the drop zone area anymore😮 This is both in Mavericks, yosemite and el capitan

😐Anyone with a solution pliz help

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), system preferences

Negative. That's not the way Keynote works. What appears in the black box in the underlying video. That's not the drop zone. Change Background to Drop Zone and you'll see what area is the drop zone.

The drop zone clearly shows as the background. The image in the Timeline appears in the box. That's how you transition into the title. The underlying image swings back and you see the background area and the title.
