How to disable the "Open in App" banner

When you visit a website that has a compatible app installed, it displays a banner with the message to Open in App. But neither the Developer nor the User want to view this in the App and both want the banner to be NOT present.

The page doesn't have a "Smart App Banner" meta tag either, and this banner is NOT displayed when the corresponding App is NOT present.

How to opt-out of this?
