Hi- I am a singer, have a Blu mic.When I record singing on Garageband it sounds like I am in a huge hall.Any way to reduce that "cavern" sound? Have made all mic adjustments I can I think. Thanks, Mimi

Have you checked the effects on the Master Track? Which patch have you selected in the library for your Master Track?
You have the reverb on in your amp settings. See pic. There's probably a reverb knob on the one you're using so turn that one down.
HI- Thanks so much for responding- I am a rank beginner at Garage Band. I opened it with the microphone icon and then selected the "Classical Voice" track, attached my blu yeti mic and then hit " record." That is all I did other than adjust the recording volume. I am embarrassed to say I don't know what a patch is or even a Master Track! - I just have the one recording on the classical voice track. Thanks for your patience! Mimi

The Classical voice has a bit of echo added to the track.
You could try to lower that as well: Select the classical voice track, then open the Smart Controls, then turn down the Echo.
Thank you so much!! Can you recommend a "voice" to use other than Classical? I only chose that because I was recording classical music. But if there is another with less of a hollow sound that would be great I promise not to nag!

Try "Natural Vocal". It has a bit of reverb, but you can lower it, if you want a clean voice, and the Echo is switched off by default for this voice.
