IOS 10 & Music

I installed IOS10 on my iPad and it works fine but music won't play the full song of most of music. It stops with about 1 minute to go approximately and is getting very irritating. It worked fine before I upgraded the operating system. I checked and have lots of free space, looked in settings and couldn't find anything and am very frustrated as I love my music.


Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Rodney6902,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that after updating your iPad to iOS 10, your songs won't play until the end. I listen to music daily on several different devices. I can surely see how this would be a bit frustrating. I am happy to help.
First, I recommend force closing the Music app. This can resolve issues when only one app isn't working as it should. Please use the steps and images in the link below for assistance.

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue persists, the next step would be to restart the iPad. Restarting can resolve many unexpected behaviors. Use the steps below, if needed.

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
  3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
