Iphone 7 plus notification center white lines and squares

I've seen this too!! It seems to only show in the Notification Center only when notifications are there and it isn't all the time.

I Have an iPhone 7 plus as well updated to 10.0.2

Confirm, I also see the same issue and only in Notification Center on the iPhone 7 Plus. Sometimes it's white lines, other times it's white rectangles. I've also had the display flicker for a short time when I was in Notification Center and the phone's screen began to dim and I touched the screen to prevent it from sleeping. Not sure if software or hardware. Suspect software given it's only happening on that one screen. May have something to do with transparency of notification center pull down but then what do I know. Seeing Genius this afternoon for an opinion.

An update to iOS 10.1 public beta 1 didn't resolve the issue (but also didn't make it worse).

I'm having this issue too ... I got my iP7+ on the 17th Sep and realize this issue after few days of using... as I did visit the genius bar asking for this issue, I was told that as the iP7+ is too new, they dont have enough information for me on how to solve this, then I request for a exchange, however after I get the new iP7+, problems still there. I'm thinking whether it is something related to the Taptic Home Button when I pull down the notification center.

Apple Genius couldn't help. He ran a diagnostics check on the hardware and all seemed fine. He reckons it's a software issue and said he'd pass this on to the engineering team.

I have this on my 7 Plus too. Do you have the solution?

I have the same problem on my 7 plus. Is it a software bug which will go away with a software update? Or is there some other solution to this problem)

I'm experiencing the same issue. I got my phone towards the end of September and noticed the screen glitch during my initial restore. I thought it would go away after it was set up and updated but no dice. I took it to the Apple store and the genius that assisted said he'd never seen that. After diagnostics and such I ended up getting a new phone. After a few days I noticed the same issue creep up. I'm glad to read others experiencing the same thing. I'll probably swing by the store to update them that the issue is still present so it'll help them figure out what's going on.

Correction - issue has re-appeared since!

I've had the same issue as well. Apple genius bar has performed two diagnostics tests as well as screen tests to make sure there were not any broken pixels. The phone was upgraded to 10.0.2 on their computer system and this continues to reappear. I got a new repair replacement phone yesterday and I continue to receive the same issues in the notifications center. Its possibly a software issue. But apple has been unable to resolve it.

Same here. Experienced the white lines/boxes which at times will flicker. Its abit annoying to see those white lines/boxes. Have chat with Apple Advisor using AppleCare Chat Support, and I was asked to restore my phone and setup as new. But after two days, the issue came back. Seems like Apple doesn't have enough info on this issue to provide solutions. Hope its some software issue which can be rectified in subsequent updates.

I don't believe there have been any resolutions just yet. I refereed the issue to apple bug reporter to see if someone can look into the matter even further.

It has to be a software issue. I recently purchased an iPhone 6s Plus and am having the same issue.
