Q: why do all the imessage effects in appear duplicate or triplicate on my phone

I can use the special effects. however in trying to test them out if I put a sticker in I may see three stickers all the same. if I use a balloon effect I see it two or three times.

are you supposed to see the effect you are sending more than once?

    Hi there healthyoptions!

    Thank you for bringing your question about effects in iOS 10 Messages to the Apple Support Communities.  I love the new effects available and I use them on my iPhone and iPad too, so I am happy to help you today.

    The special effects (the balloons, lasers, etc.) will only appear one time on the screen.  The stickers will appear once, however your messaging partner can place their own stickers on top of yours.  

    Should the Message app act unexpectedly, you'll want to force close the app and then relaunch it.  I'll provide a link below with instructions on how to force close an app:

    i was trying to learn the feature and I sent myself several messages each one had the balloon or sticker repeated several times and also had the word keep next to one.

    what is that all about.

    my apps are closing fine. that is not the problem. I can send screen shots if you give me directions. this happens each time I use the new feature. it is not limited to one time.
