Q: Maximize my iPhone Photos storage
My iPhone says I have 20 GB of photos stored. I don't know if those are stored on my iPhone and/or iCloud. How can I tell which is on which or on both? I want to free up GB's of space on my iPhone. Thanks in advance for any tips!

Hi
If you are using iCloud Photo Library and have also enabled the option to Optimise iPhone Storage (Settings > iCloud > Photos), then iCloud Photo Library automatically manages the size of your library on your iPhone.
If you are not already using iCloud Photo Library (including the optimisation option), then you may wish to consider doing so.
The optimisation option works to free up storage space on your iPhone by keeping space saving versions on your iPhone and full size originals in iCloud. Photos and videos are optimised on your iPhone automatically, as and when needed.
Note that, when using iCloud Photo Library, deleting a photo or video on any device that is using the service also deletes it from all other devices that are using the service, including from iCloud.
The following resources may help in explaining how photos and videos are managed by iCloud Photo Library:
