Hello,

How can i get my 4Gig of RAM upgraded in my brand new (4 Gig expandable to 16Gig RAM) MacMini?

The Specs said expandable to 16Gig so i was going to add more memory once i received my new MacMini. To my dismay, it says i had to configure the RAM at time of purchase. Since I used reward points to purchase this MacMini, I had ZERO options to upgrade the RAM. What can i do to rectify this issue? This is frustrating!!!

Thanks.

Derek

The only way is to purchase another 2014 Mac Mini. The RAM is soldered to the logic board and as you said " it says i had to configure the RAM at time of purchase". Configure mean purchase a mode that has more RAM.

If you purchased the Mini from Apple less than 14 days ago you can return for a full refund and purchase another one with more memory
