Sep 18, 2016 11:29 AM in response to Ghauthamanby brenden dv,Hi Ghauthaman,
I understand that you are not seeing birthday events in the calendar widget on your iPhone in iOS 10. I know it's important to stay up to date with these important events, so I'm happy to help.
Check out the steps here to modify how the Calendar can show you notifications:
Use multiple calendars - iPhoneChange how Calendar notifies you. Go to Settings > Notifications > Calendar. You can change notification styles for invitations, events found in apps, upcoming events, and more.
If you're still not seeing these specific birthday alerts, then try checking the settings specifically for that calendar.
How to modify the calendar alerts on a per calendar basis:- Open the Calendar app
- Tap Calendars in the bottom middle of the app
- Tap the i to the right of the Birthdays calendar
- Ensure that the option for Allow events on this calendar to display alerts is turned on

Sep 21, 2016 9:07 PM in response to brenden dvby JuanAlonso,Hi,
brenden,
I have the same issue of Ghauthaman after upgrade to iOS 10 in 4 devices. (another one device no upgraded to iOS 10 is working fine with birthday notifications).
I followed up your suggestions, but in the step 3 I don't have the "i" in the right on Birthdays calendar.
I have created a case in apple support, waiting for feedback.
Thanks.

I am having the same issue. When I enter birthday info for a contact, i expect it to show in the notifications widget like it did in earlier versions of iOS. The time is set to "all day event"

Sep 24, 2016 9:57 AM in response to brenden dvby Ghauthaman,There's an option to get alerts at 9 am, etc in the settings for calendars app. By setting so, I get an alert in the notification centre just as a notification.. but it's not showing up in the calendar widget at all..
