MacBook Bluetooth is unavailable.

Suddenly my MacBook 9.2 running El Capitan has a squiggly line through the menu bar bluetooth symbol, and when the cursor is clicked on it, it says Bluetooth not available. Have tried resetting SMC, deleting the Bluetooth plist file in Libraries/Preferences/ , no joy. Happened this morning when turned on.
