Q: All sound is gone

No sound at all in my MacBook Air very suddenly and in settings it says no output devices found.

Resetting NVRAM as well as SMC could solve the problem.
How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
If they don't work, open Terminal.app then type:
sudo killall coreaudiod(you are required to type admin password)
then reboot MacBook Pro could solve the problem.

Thanks. I guess I'll take it to an Apple store, none of the above worked. I wasn't able to type anything in Terminal.app but I did try all three approaches. I need a new one anyway.
