Our gracious Hosts have softened the policy somewhat as evidenced by many of the username changes NOT involving personal info in this 40 page thread > Change Forum Username

I usually say that so others will take a moment to make informed decisions when creating them. I've seen some pretty ridiculous names, and people that create things like that deserve to be haunted by them for the rest of their ASC life.

remember, a 13 y/o could have joined ASC 5 years ago and now with their newly "adult" wisdom saw the lack thereof when they picked a username as new teen

I too have a hard time remembering when I was either of those ages, but I have since become a lot more tolerant youthful indiscretions

I like it. How revolutionary it be if people actually stopped a moment to ponder the ramifications of their actions.

I'm surprized it hasn't been made into a hit TV show. The man is doomed to walk the earth with his ASC username "Stoopnagel."

I've been accused of this before!

Those that try their darnedest to try to fool the software and create some nasty username, or make some negative comment towards Apple products, coming here begging for help with their Apple product. But, I digress and we should probably leave this here. It can be continued in the WC.

Doing it on purpose is different and The Bobfather turns a deaf ear to their pleas.
