Does a 2.1 Amp charger harm Iphone?

I recently bought a 2.1 Amp charger and I use it to charge my iphone 6. Lately I've seen that my battery has been going down much faster than when I charged it with the standard Apple wall charger. I also conducted 2 tests. I brought my battery on my Iphone 6 down to 20%. I charged my phone once with the 2.1 amp charger, it took 1 hour and 46 minutes. I brought the battery back down to 20% and charged it with the Apple 1 amp charger, it took 1 hour and 40 minutes. Is this supposed to happen?

You didn't control for other factors that affect charging time, such as background processes, messages received, notifications, email received, how long the screen was on, screen brightness (which may vary if auto brightness is on) etc while charging. Any activity on the phone will affect charging time. A USB adapter that can supply at least 1.5 amps will charge an iPhone slightly faster than the 1 amp cube, everything else being equal. But it won't be a big difference.

But follow Meg's advice also.
