Has anyone else gotten red, irritated hands after using the silver MacBook? I suspect there is nickle alloy in the aluminum.

BTW, the keyboard is not made of alloy.
Some people are allergic to nickel. Are you allergic to some metals? If so then you will get irritated.
Consult your allergist. We have no idea what you are allergic to.
You could send your MBP to a metallurgical research laboratory and they should be able to determine the exact alloy and the component elements assuming that the case is an alloy and not pure aluminum.
My guess is that the case is made out of 6000 series aluminum.
