Try to reinstall your iTunes .

It's hard to forget your passcode since you need it many times a day.

How did you managed that?

You will need to tell us which iPad model & which iOS you have.

Hopefully you have kept backups in iCloud or on computer that are recent. Try a hard reset which is a combination of holding down the power and volume buttons simultaneously for a minute. Reconnect to computer and load from backup.
