Battery draining after updating to ios 10

I recently updated my iphone 6s to iOS10.0.1 and have noticed that the battery is draining much faster than

previous iOS. I am not sure if its a bug related problem but the phone does get heated up when battery life starts to get down. Can anyone comment on this issue.
