Q: directions to clean install MacOS Sierra

I'm going to install MacOS Sierra like many of you but I do not want to update or upgrade I want to do a "Clean Install" on my Retina iMac. There are several small, irksome on going issues that NO ONE at Apple has been able to help with. I am consigned to start fresh and I'm hoping after a month or two AFTER Sierra is released and the immediate bugs will be squashed and then I can make the move. Since Sierra is a new file system, I'm hoping all will be right in the RiM. That way my two hundred gigs (almost) of music plays without hiccup and my huge photo library will play nice too!

There are several "How To's" out in WEB land but honestly all of them are a little confusing. I don't understand why Apple insists on not putting out a precise concise guide, Step by step. Like my Gunny or 1st Sergeant used to explain in the Corps when something needed to be explained out. We said, "Let me explain it like Barney." Referring to Barney Fife. In-other-words, super simple. I was going to purchase a eBook from Take Control Books by Scholle McFarland. I am wondering what any of you Super Guru's think?

Yes I use Time Machine. Yes, I've backed up Photos and iTunes separately. I'm going to do the same to my documents and email (not sure about that one).

Appreciate any guidance provided.

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
