Q: iPhone 6 can't play video in ios 10

As the title, my iphone can not play the videos on my phone. My iPhone is currently running ios 10. Please help me. thank you.

    I have this issue too.

    I thought it might be a bug in Facebook first as I had noticed that when I navigated to a link with an embedded video, the video would not play.

    However, when I go to the Photos app on the phone and try to play a video, the video doesn't play.

     

    The only way to resolve this is to reboot the phone.

     

    I don't believe that I should have to reboot my phone several times a week to just be able to play videos on my phone.

    I got a brand new iPhone 7 plus and i have the same problem. I naturally was really upset and after 4 hours I got it replaced by a new one at the Apple Store.  Just minutes ago, it happened again In the replacement phone! I can't even play my own recorded videos. Im forced to restart the phone to recover but don't tell me this is a solution because I think is obscene that Apple has release such a huge defect in their software.  I feel as if I have a piece of junk phone.  I will wait a little bit to see if Apple reacts, but not, I'm not keeping this defective device.

    have anyone tried going to any service center and inquired on what can be done to solve this?

    Apple has deleted my last post Because it wasn't "constructive". Too bad they have time for that and none to address the issue...

     

    No service centers near me that I can go to. Starting to wish I could just send my phone back. I've just stopped restarting the phone. My whole family (4) is having the same issue now. All I can tell people is that the iPhone is great, but it won't play videos. Glitchy software update that hasn't been addressed yet.

     

    I've always loved my iPhone, but this is costing me now.

    I have reported this as a bug awhile ago. I will update you when I receive anything from them. This was the report I made:

    I'm using 6Plus. When I upgraded to iOS 10, I have been encountering video playing issues lately and this is recurring. Video downloaded using apps won't play. Phone recorded video also won't play. This also affect other video type on apps like Twitter and Snapchat. All videos are like still pictures. Restarting the phone won't solve. I have to do a hard reset every time it happens. This happens now most of the time and I just can't keep on doing a hard reset when it happens. I'm afraid that eventually my power and home button will malfunction for all the hard reset that I've been doing. This started since iOS 10.0.1 and I have updated to 10.0.2 and it still happening. This did not happen during iOS 9 and this have nothing to do with my phone, it's an IOS GLITCH THAT YOU HAVE TO FIX. This is terrible. Now, I am planning to hold on from getting 7Plus until this issue is resolved.

    iOS 10 has been the problem all along. I have 10.0.2 and others have said they have iOS 10 as well. The issue has definitely not been resolved. I don't know of anyone who has anything other than iOS 10 with this issue.

    I'm having this SAME issue!  Plus, my music won't play!  SO FRUSTRATING!

    Same exact problem here. I have to restart so many times a day in order to watch videos. APPLE, you cannot tell us to restart all the time.

    Restarted my iPhone 6s and iPad. The videos still cannot be played. Usually when I click on the arrow in the video screen, it will play automatically. Now it has an arrow with a cross. Restarted it and tried it many times. Problem still exists. Please help.

    I have the same issue. It's a shame how Apple products are losing the quality that used to be theirs.
