Cannot complete iCloud backup to iPhone 7

Two new iPhone 7s. .one backed up easily to iCloud and my computer through iTunes. The other will not back up to iCloud either directly or through iTunes, but will back up to my computer. It just goes on forever indicating at first one hour then two etc and well into 20+ hours to backup. Going to iCloud shows backup incomplete using 15gb of space. iCloud storage has plenty of available space. Please help if you can. No problem doing this with previous two phones, iPhone 6 & iPhone 6S.

Try reseting the second device you're having trouble with -- Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Thanks. I Have restarted and it did not help. You said "reset". Did you mean restart, hard restart or something else?

Thanks, I've tried all the recommendations except logging out of iClou. I won't be trying this until I return home later in the week as other iCloud stuff like photo stream, messages etc are working across devices I have with me and I want my main home computer on before I do this. Backup to my MacBook Air is working fine.
