Q: My MacBook Pro won't shut down or restart
Hi,
I recently upgraded my HDD to SSD and boosted my RAM to 8gb. My MacBook Pro is now running better than ever however it seems to have a problem with shutting down/restarting. When I go to shut it down/restart it nothing happens, programmes don't close and the MacBook Pro doesn't actually shut down/restart at all (even if no apps are running). This is resulting in me not being able to update certain apps/software as they require a restart to do this. I've run first aid on the SSD and the problem is still the same. Can anyone help with any suggestions of how to fix this?
