Trade in iPhone & Buy an eligible iPhone for university

Hi,

Quite a rather complex question. At least, it was for Apple support.

Being a university student, who is willing to trade in her iPhone 5S for an iPhone 6, I wondered if it was possible to buy an eligible iPhone for students.

When I asked Apple support whether I could just ask for info at my local iPhone store, the online support sent me a link, which is completely useless.
