Q: Lost Pages documents in iCloud

Hello.

After some ios update to my ipad (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/ipad/specs/apple-ipad-2-wi-fi-cdma-verizon -a-gps-specs.html) I've lost all files of Pages app.

When I read the list of files in icloud backup I found these files but I can't restore them. I've already tried to restore ipad, delete and reinstall Pages app.

When I log in into www.icloud.com I find my documents!

Last notice: in the settings panel of pages, the checkbox of icloud seems not to work properly because doesn't keep "on" state.

How I can restore files in my Ipad?

    Hello virginiafromtrento,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see that after you have updated the iOS software on your iPad, you lost all files in the Pages app, and you can't restore them to your device. But you do see these documents when you log into iCloud.com. I completely understand. I would want to make sure that I have access to all of my documents as well.

A way that you can try to recover these documents is to enable iCloud Drive on your iPad. You can enable iCloud Drive by following this path: Settings > iCloud > iCloud Drive > toggle on (green). Make sure that the Pages app is also toggled on.

    Then, please follow these steps.

    1. Open the Pages app.
    2. Choose Locations.
    3. Choose iCloud Drive.
    4. Choose the Pages folder.
    5. Select the document you want to download.

    Have an amazing day!
