iPhone 7 cellular connectivity issues

I have a new iPhone 7 jet black, so far I'm loving it. But yesterday I noticed an annoying issue. The phone will lose network connection ( cellular at&t) and it won't reconnect, it will just stay there saying no service. I have to go into airplane mode and out to force it to seek network connection.

is anyone else experiencing this? and has anyone figure out what it could be?

I've missed messages and a phone call already. This could escalate from annoying to becoming a problem. If anyone has an idea what this could be please give me a heads up!

OH! Another thing I noticed, when the iPhone is connected my signal strength went from -102 on my 6s to -86 on my 7!! So when I'm connected I'm connected!!

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue cellular connection on your new iPhone is not what you expect. The good news is the following steps will be helpful in resolving your issue with losing cellular data and seeing No Service and get your new iPhone working properly again.

I also am having this same issue. The steps described in "If you can't connect to a cellular network or cellular data" do not work for me. I have been nearly 3 days without service now. I had a conversation with Apple support on Saturday. They had me reset my phone, losing all of my stored settings, apps, etc. and it still didn't work. This is very frustrating. I went to the At&t store to ensure it was not an issue with my SIM card. They gave me a brand new one and I am still having the same issue. I don't have a back up phone and the next appointment in the Apple store is next Thursday. I have no line of communication, beyond frustrating.

Apple has today released iOS 10.0.3.

This fixes bugs including an issue where some users may lose cellular data connectivity:
