Is really the iPhone 7 unlocked when paying full price? I think it is but no sure yet

I ordered two iPhones 7 black 32gb and selected t-mobile as carrier. I have understood that when full price is paid ($649 + tax) iPhone 7 comes unlocked but with the selected carrier nano sim, so, Does this mean that I have to activate the iPhone using this t-mobile nano sim? or could I remove it to insert the nano sim of my carrier in my country and activate it with this one? I intend to use my iPhone in Venezuela.

iPhone is unlocked, apple.com said clear that this iPhone is unlocked just before doing check out the day of the order.

Hi

If you bought iphone from apple they will be unlocked

If you bought elsewhere you need to check with seller.

If you got it threw thier Eip (Equipment installment plan) once you pay off the device you can request threw a rep to have the device unlock. They will then send you an email with instructions on how to unlock it using a tmo sim or a sim with another provider

If you purchased it all at one go(full price) the device is automaticly unlocked and there will be no need to unblock it.

Hola disculpa, tengo pensado comprar el iphone 7 y tambien soy de Venezuela, por lo que he leido dicen que compre con T mobile, vi que tu hiciste igual. Te funciono el telefono? mi operadora es Movistar, gracias de antemano.

Hola, A.Noheda1992. Si funciona perfectamente con Movistar en Venezuela, incluso con Digitel. Ya lo estoy usando sin inconvenientes, lo pude activar usando la nano sim de movistar. Vivo en Merida. Yo estoy vendiendo otro 7 black de 32gb nuevo, caja sellada por mercadolibre pero te sale mejor comprarlo directamente a apple. Saludos
