Q: Default account in notes

I can't change default account in notes on my IPAD 4th generation since the 10.0.1 update how can i fix this to another account I use for notes. Is there away to fix this. The default account is set on  On My IPad and it's grayed out so it can't be changed.

Thanks

Hi. In Settings > Notes, have you enabled any other accounts for notes? If there are no other accounts, you won't be able to change the default.

That did open up the default setting so I can change it to another account unfortunately the account I want to use doesn't have a notes button in that account. At the bottom of the account there is a statement saying that only the main account can be used for notes. A little background we set up a second ICloud account for both of us to share for our calendar, contacts and notes. Worked great until we did the update to 10. The 2 Iphones and the IPad Pro updated without a problem keeping the second ICloud account as the  default just the older IPad didn't for notes but the contacts and calendar did. Confusing.

    thanks

That's strange. You could try signing out of that account, and your main iCloud account, then back in. That might help. I'll ask the hosts to remove your personal data.
