late 2011 MBP shuts down when unplugged

hello, my late 2011 MBP (on 10.9.5) was just recently at apple, the logic board was replaced. soon after i got it back, it started to shut down when unplugged. re-booting works, but only for a minute. the system report has the following, does anything look out of line here? it seems like a battery issue, i'm on the original battery, but i figured battery wold just get shorter and shorter, not just cease working.

Hello marc cardwell,

If your MacBook Pro is unexpectedly shutting down when disconnecting your charger (despite correctly recognizing your installed battery), it may help to reset its SMC and NVRAM.

ack! spoke too soon it worked for a bit, then the mac shut down again a few times off the power cord. i did both the smc and pram fixes again. we'll see.

one possible clue: when i try to restart but pressing the button, i'll hear the dvd drive, nothing happens, so i push button again, and the dvd drive will make two sounds then restart. that mean anything?

i'm not seeing anything in console app. but probably wouldn't know what i was seeing anyway!
