Now that I upgraded to Iphone 7 plus, Windows will no longer save my photos when I connect the phone. It also does not show in "My Computer" allowing me to manually start the process. Is this a new feature?

I used to back up the photos on all my other iphones using the Windows tool.

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes, 12.5.1, loaded on the computer. That loads the latest drivers for the phone, and should ensure that you can do what you are looking for. It may be there are not any photos that have not been accessed/uploaded. Try taking a photo and then connecting your device to the computer. If you do not have iTunes 12.5.1, then update that first before taking the photo and attempting to connect.
