2 Problems with iTunes & my iPhone 5C

Hi,

Since updating to the new iOS 10.0.1 I have encountered 2 problems with iTunes and my iPhone 5C that are driving me mad!

1: How can I 'hide' or remove the 'Recently Added' songs section on my iPhone?? I've removed all music from the device, sync'd it, and still it shows the 'Recently Added' music - but only music I've downloaded from iTunes... which is now no longer 'Recent'... The usual fixes and options aren't available or working any more...

2: When connected to iTunes, my iPhone displays a partially sync'd album which isn't on the phone at all... I have tried adding the album in question, no joy, even deleting it from iTunes altogether... still it displays as a 'greyed out' list of songs with the dotted, sync icon where to the left of the track name (where a green tick is when it actually sync's properly)

I hope someone can figure this one out as it's driving me mad!
