How do i play my down loaded music podcasts on my iphone 4 ios 7.1.2

I Recently upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 7.1.2 and can no longer see my downloaded podcasts nor can I play them on my phone. Where can I find an apple app that works on ios 7.1.2. I am unable to upgrade my ios any higher than 7.1.2. Every app in the app store works on ios 8.0 and higher. Can anyone help.
