Music App Disappeared! Help!

Okay recently I have updated to IOS 10 on my iPhone 5. It was working fine until today where I noticed my music app was missing. I tired resetting my phone and the home screen but nothing is working. I have checked the "about" section in settings and it shows my music is clearly there.

However, when I spotlight search any of my music nothing pops up.

The only way I can listen to my music is like through the alarm option.

What do I do to get my music app back? This never happened before why now?

iPhone 5, iOS 10, null

Hi JackieTea!

I understand that you're not able to locate the Music app on your device or access any of the music that's on your device. Such symptoms indicate that the Music app may have been uninstalled from your iPhone. Fortunately reinstalling the app is a fairly simple process, as detailed below.

Add a previously removed built-in app

  1. Go to the App Store and search for the app. Tap User uploaded file to restore the app.
  2. Wait for the app to restore, then open it from your Home screen.
