A phone call comes at a crucial time while you're shooting a video...

I was just shooting a video and at an absolutely crucial point a phone call came in. As soon as I could I hit the red Decline button but two or three seconds elapsed in that time period. Thankfully the OS immediately brought me back to the Camera app and the I was pleased to see that the video was still recording.

What do you think happens to a recording video when a call comes in? Does it keep recording, or does it pause the recording, or...? Did I miss getting that two or three seconds recorded? It's going to be hard for me to tell from the result.
