Q: My calendar window no longer shows on launching calendar
I'm running OSX 10.11.6 on a Macbook Pro and am a regular calendar user, syncing calendar with iCloud and both my personal and corporate Google accounts.
Last week my calendar window stopped displaying. The calendar is running in background because I continue to get alerts. When I launch the calendar, no window is displayed. The majority of calendar menu items are greyed out including all from the Window menu. Re-booting my machine does not help (I have to force quit calendar in order to reboot btw).
Have tried shutting down and restarting Calendar, rebooting and also removing the cache per this article (http://www.macworld.com/article/2048442/cure-for-a-corrupt-calendar-application. html) without success.
I'm now at a loss what further to try.
